Integrated Therapy of Northern Colorado (ITNC) exists to provide best-practice Music Therapy services, partnering with individuals with developmental or acquired disabilities and their families, to promote positive, interactive, and independent lifestyles. We offer individual and group music therapy in northern Colorado area homes and collaborating organizations.

Join us for our next community building opportunity for music therapists in northern Colorado!

The purpose of this event is to develop a stronger and more supportive community of music therapists by building camaraderie and shared learning. This is a series where local MTs can network, share their experiences, and contribute ideas of topics and speakers that are relevant and of interest to our MT community.

JINGLE & JIVE: Thank you!

This first annual event was a Ho-Ho-HUGE success!

Integrated Therapy of Northern Colorado was pleased to present a collage of group and individual performances by our Young Adult Choir and music therapy friends. This show featured a variety of sung, video, and instrumental performances of popular and holiday music by friends of all abilities. Thank you to everyone that came out to support this amazing community and the performers who worked to hard.

We look forward to another fantastic event in December 2024!

ITNC bases its treatment approach on the following principles:

Assumed Competence- that the individuals that we serve are capable, intelligent people that benefit from individualized supports as they grow in autonomy, independence, and potential.

Psychomotor regulation- that the development of neurological mechanisms that modulate every individual's actions, communication, and cognition are often foundational to independence and learning.

Total communication strategies- the importance of a variety of communication strategies to provide the opportunity for each individual to functionally and relationally interact with others.

Therapy CAN be FUN- a variety of preferred and improvised music along with instruments and interactive movement can motivate greater participation in challenging skill areas.
